Microsoft started rolling out a new Microsoft Office a few years back which now means that we have three versions at hand. We have Microsoft office 2016, Office 365 and now the brand new Office 2019.
I was forced to upgrade to MS Office for Mac 2019 because future Mac upgrades will not be compatible with my old version. I only use Word, but had to buy the entire suite. I wish with all my heart there was something better out there. (Pages, Mac's word-processing option, is even more pathetic.).
- The Office 2019 versions that most people will care about are Office Home & Student 2019, at $149.99, which includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and is licensed for one Windows machine or one Mac.
- Microsoft Home and Student 2019 includes Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Same programs as Microsoft Office 365 counterparts but you only pay once and you don't have to log in or work on the internet. I enjoy the freedom and can't figure out why anyone would want to use MS 365 with the never-ending monthly charges and internet hassles.
- Office 2019 / Windows 10. 64bit This office 2019 is all available to download from Microsoft. The program is coming with an activation code on a card. This will not have a disk inside for your CD-Rom or your DVD-Rom drive.

· Office 2019 will be installed on your system drive or C: drive. However, the location of the office installation cannot be changed.
· Updates to Office 2019, such as security updates and bug fixes, can be configured to be automatically downloaded and installed from the Office CDN. Individual downloads for each security update or bug fix aren’t available.
