There are currently 18 playable animals in the game Animal Jam. New animals are coming almost every month right now so this page will be uppdated á lot. The curently animals are Wolf, Tiger, Bunny(Rabbit), Monkey(Endangered), Panda, Koala. Seal. Elephant, Crocodile, Rihno, Horse, Penguin , Dolphin, Shark, Turtle(or tortoise), and Octopus. You can read about all the animals below.

The Wolf is an animal available for all Jammers. It can be chosen as the player's starter animal when they register an account or when they buy it in-game for 3,000 Gems. In Beta Testing, Jammers could have only one animal. In Beta Testing on March 2015 update, multiple animals were introduced and extra animals cost 30 Sapphires. The Snowflake Arctic Wolf is a members-only land animal released on May 11, 2017. It was released in the Diamond Shop and from the Choose An Animal page. It was released again on January 2, 2020, as part of the Starry Night Bundle, obtainable by purchasing a membership through the Animal Jam website during the month of January 2020. It was later released in the Diamond Shop on January 16, 2020.

Wolf
Wolf is currently and have always been the most popular animal in the Animal Jam Game.
The wolf was one of the 6 original animals togheter whit tiger, koala, rabbit(bunny), Monkey (Now Endangered) and Panda.
The wolves are much known for the animals that have the most clans and packs.
The shaman of the Wolf is known as Greely and this is the only original story known about him:
Greely, the reluctant wolf Shaman, puts his creepy cleverness to use in the study of animal magic. He is definitely on the side of good and righteousness, but he plays by his own rules. He speaks in to-the-point sentences, even to new animals, and has a certain amount of disdain for the other Shaman leaders. The only higher power that Greely respects is the Sky Mother, Mira. Greely is a powerful warrior against the phantoms in Animal Jam; they fear him most of all, because he is so much like them. He is the link to the darker side of the Animal Jam mythology. He has theories about where the phantoms came from and he may even know the location of a few undiscovered spirit stones.

According to the legends, Greely is the leader of Coral Canyons and he is also said to live there.

Tiger
Tiger is the second most popular animal in Animal Jam. It is one of the original 6 animals too. The tigers homeland is Crystal Sands.
Just like the wolf, the tigers have a lot of clans and packs etc. The shaman of the Tigers are Sir Gilbert, known as the warrior of Jamaa. Here is his story:
Sir Gilbert, the regal tiger Shaman, is a proud warrior. He takes his ancestry very seriously and always makes it a point to honor those that came before him when going into battle. Even though he has a rough appearance, Sir Gilbert is a very thoughtful, spiritual animal with a caring nature. His personality is serious, reverential, and soft-spoken. He has a deep, low voice that can be as soothing as it is menacing. As a mentor to new tigers, Sir Gilbert can be a tough teacher, but he possesses great wisdom and knows a lot about the history of Jamaa and its ongoing struggle with the phantoms that inhabit the Animal Jam world.

Rabbit

McDonald’s has started a new promo where you can get Animal Jam Plushies with your Happy Meal purchases. The exclusive AJ plushies will be available in October and November of 2018. It is currently said that only a select amount of McDonald’s locations in the UK and Mexico have these toys in stock, and that the exclusive AJ plushies will not get released in the US.

McDonald’s Exclusive AJ Plushies

There are a total of ten exclusive AJ plushies that are packed into Happy Meals. You have the Arctic Wolf, Coyote, Crocodile, Dolphin, Fox, Monkey, Owl, Penguin, Tiger and Toucan. To get the exclusive plushies, you will need to purchase a Happy Meal in the select McDonald’s locations in the UK or Mexico.

All ten plushies come in ten different color varieties, for a total of a hundred different plushies. They are about 3,5 inch in size, and have a little lace in the back. This allows you to attach the plushies to other things, such as your backpack, keychain etc.

If you are wondering what the plushies look like, I have found pictures of all ten animals. In the pictures below, you can see what the ten different Animal Jam plushies look like.

Exclusive Plushy Gift Codes

The cool thing about the McDonald’s exclusive Animal Jam plushies is that they come with a redeemable code. The codes allow you to redeem special den items within the game.

For example, if you got the Arctic Wolf plushie in your Happy Meal, you get a code with it. When you redeem that code in Animal Jam, you will receive an “Exclusive Arctic Wolf Plushie” den item. You can place that den item in your den to show everyone that you actually own the plushie.

I have found some websites where you can actually purchase the codes that come with the exclusive plushies. However, I do not recommend you to purchase those codes. For starters, you have no idea if the sellers already redeemed those codes. Nine times out of ten, sellers of such codes are scammers, and are out to get your money, in return for an useless code.
