X3: Reunion Gameguide by Christian 'Simon Moon' Riesen (simon@gomp.net) After writing a guide for X2, it seemd natural to me to do the same for X3. This guide does not claim to be perfect, 100% accurate at all times, nor complete. But you should know a few things before considering this guide. First, it's based on the UK version of X3. X3: Reunion is a single-player space trading and combat video game developed by Egosoft and published by Deep Silver. It is the third installment in the X series and the sequel to X2: The Threat (2003), which in turn followed X: Beyond the Frontier (1999).

Space Simulation. X3 Reunion features more space exploration and trading of the previous games. The game gives you a possibility to explore the void, buy and sell goods for a profit, and battle enemies. You are taken to the gorgeous single-player storyline where you face lots of interesting tasks and missions. Deep space and open-ended universe is waiting for you! All the events of the game are set in the distant future where humanity rubs elbows with different alien species. Assume the role of Julian Brenner, the hero of X2. At the beginning of the game you are alone in your vessel. Collect the hints of a plot throughout the gameplay. You can either follow the plot or just go your own way, exploring different sectors of the universe. You will fly across the universe, looking for missions, and trading goods most of the gameplay time. But, of course, combat plays not the last role in the game.

Style and atmosphere inside the game:
X3 Reunion is an exciting simulation game designed with gorgeous graphics and varied sound system. The game delivers stunning visuals and more open gameplay, you will be flying from one place to another across the universe, watching detailed representation of all the locations. You are going to be greatly impressed by the game.s graphics, lightings, animations, etc. The sound system won.t be as much impressive as the game.s graphics. The same can be said about voice acting. But overall the sound system is not too bad, just lacks some novelty.
